Hotel Policies

Below are some of our hotel's policies which may help you plan your visit.

  • A valid CREDIT CARD for security and photo ID are required at check-in for all reservations. The credit card must be physically present, displaying the name of the guest, and valid to be authorized for charges at that time, including an additional $100 authorization for incidentals. This applies to all reservations, even if the reservation is pre-paid. Cash and "pre-paid" credit cards or cash cards are not accepted for payment at arrival.
  • Guests must be at least 21 to rent a room.
  • The hotel reserves the right to maintain its guest rooms with daily housekeeping and maintenance services as needed.
  • Cancellation and refund policies are determined by the accepted terms of each individual booking and may vary accordingly by booking method, rate plan, and stay dates, but the hotel’s standard cancellation policy for bookings made without more restrictive terms is 48 Hours Prior to Arrival.
  • The hotel campus and facilities are 100% SMOKE-FREE. No smoking or vaping is permitted in the hotel facilities or on the hotel grounds except in the designated Smoking Area. While cannabis products are legal in private residential and certain licensed commercial establishments in Maine, their use on the hotel campus or facilities are strictly prohibited.
  • Local Guests: We welcome guests from all over the map, and Maine's Capital Area is full of great, caring people who enjoy the wholesome quality of life for which the Kennebec Valley is known. There are lots of good reasons for local residents to stay in a local hotel, but as is the case in all locations around the country, some local residents look to party at local hotels, which can be both disruptive and disturbing to other hotel guests and also destructive to the hotel. We take the comfort of our clientele and the protection of our facilities and reputation very seriously, and our guests (from both the local area and from farther away) appreciate the peace of mind that this stance ensures. With the above in mind, this hotel may not extend accommodations to guests whose primary address is within the local area without their first receiving management approval in advance of their day of arrival.
